Spruce
Spruce forests are characterized by the dominance of spruce trees. These evergreen coniferous trees are common in northern temperate and boreal regions.
Spruce forests often have a dense canopy with needle-like leaves that are retained throughout the year, providing habitat for a variety of wildlife. The understory in spruce forests may include mosses, ferns, and other shade-tolerant plants.

Agroforestry is a sustainable land-use approach that combines trees, crops, and sometimes animals on the same piece of land. Agroforestry integrates diverse elements to create mutually beneficial relationships, like growing coffee under shade trees.
